Mykonos

Not every holiday I take is a Frui holiday, I have close group of friends I call the Lisbians, that is because we once holidayed together to Lisbon and our Whatsapp group was called Lisbians and we never changed it… For our summer 2018 Lisbian trip we ventured to the blue and white Greek isle of Mykonos.

The trip was more about the food and partying than photography but I did take my camera, now I have ditched the Canon 5d in favour of the smaller more portable mirrorless Sony A6500, it doesn’t feel such an effort to take my camera and lenses away with me.

I only took my camera out for a morning and lunchtime walk over the holiday, but I did manage to snap some cool pictures of the island!  I definitely fell in love with the white walls and pretty streets of the old town… I have included some of my favourite shots of the trip in the blog post.

This was my first time to Greece and I can’t wait to go back and explore more.   If you ever find yourself going to Mykonos I would without any doubt recommend the hotel Mykonos Princess, we stayed there and the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff and service was 5 star… just be careful as their breakfasts are dangerously delicious, not what you want when you plan to spend the day in a bikini!
