Introducing Baby R

You may remember the maternity shoot I shot, well L loved the photos so much she asked me to take some natural environment newborn photos, so at only 6 days old I got meet baby R and shoot some lovely images.

The key to photographing newborns is ensuring a warm environment and lots of patience!!! I tried to capture the details like hands and feet…

But my favourite shot is below, I have always said I love capturing expression in photos, could you get any more expression than baby R crying out for some milk! Please don’t worry as soon as he cried he was picked up and satisfied by his mother, but that look… it might not be framed but I could’t resist capturing it, hopefully his parents will get it out to show him on his 18th birthday!
